The    Affiliate Program

You will find two different types of banners on the Xisti.com web site. Our policy is to be very selective in the advertising on our site, and to be honest with our members about those banners. We have all been annoyed by flashing neon banners or those that tell us to click on the monkey and win a prize. What you will see most often on our site are affiliate programs.

Affiliate banners are run by merchants who pay us a referral fee for running their banners. There are two ways we can earn from these programs: by impressions and from actual orders placed after clicking through from our site. Our goal in selecting affiliates is to select sites that meet certain standards. They must be reputable companies. Whenever possible, we would like them to compliment the goals that we have for our site. We look for companies that:

• Operate with a concern for the environment and make positive efforts to reverse the effects of pollution and damage
• Contribute part of their profits back to the communities where they operate
• Have a good equal opportunity record
• Promote good will through their business practices
• Create marketplaces for unusual or handcrafted items

We do not have as much control over advertising banners, but will always endeavor to keep offensive banners from appearing on our site. We will not ask you to click on these banners to generate revenue for the site ... in fact, our agreement with the advertising provider prohibits us from doing so.
