Is Anybody Out There?

There are times when I struggle for words to present an idea and I wonder if anyone reads these articles. Maybe they are just an outpouring of words no one cares about. Certainly they are never discussed or commented on. Maybe human nature is such that we don't want our boats rocked in any way so we shy away from questions being asked which might make us alter our perceptions?

With those thoughts in my mind, I decided to give it a rest for a few months. This article was actually written in January and is just being posted. Perhaps you have sighed with relief at the respite and perhaps you have wondered what happened?

I assure you that I still have things to say and will continue to say them until and unless something happens to take away the opportunity. I've always believed that the surest way to fail was to fail to try. So I will keep struggling to present ideas and to get people to look at things in a new way.

So I decided to post a small challenge. Is anybody out there? Do you read these articles? If so, how about some conversation about them. Do you think I am full of wind? Say so! Think I have a valid point? Let's talk about it! Think the concern is real and my conclusions hogwash? Say so!

This is not a dictatorship or demagoguery. Our mission here at Xisti is to provide a forum where we can meet and discuss the challenges of living it today's world and find a common ground where we can agree on what needs to be done to improve life as we know it. Remember the words of Margaret Mead:

Never doubt that a small, group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.

So ... is anybody out there? Is anyone willing to be part of the solution rather than part of the problem? Are you willing to share your concerns and celebrations with a group of committed citizens. State your case here.
